Designers and independent labels from Hong Kong made a prominent presence at the Taipei in Style 2014 exhibition.
One label that caught our attention was MIGO, which creates its line of apparels and bags. The concept of MIGO is as straightforward as its tagline – We Create Patterns. Fusing vibrant colours together, it creates designs that ooze an energetic characteristic. The motifs used in the designs are inspired by random everyday objects, such as fruits, flowers and even animals.
The Style Hong Kong runway show features 14 labels that strutted their spring/summer 2015 collections to an eager crowd made up of media personnel, buyers, style icons and enthusiasts et cetera. Some of them include kenaxleung, methodology, MODEMENT and FAVEbyKennyLi. Here are some highlights…
