The Body Shop Foundation turns 25 this year and to commemorate this special moment, they will be bringing back their Dragon fruit Lip Butter and limited edition bags to support three new foundations. Launched in October 2012, more than SGD 45 000 was raised for societies that encompassed the company’s three values – against animal testing, protecting the planet and activating self-esteem. This year, The Body Shop Foundation will be introducing three new local charities – Humane Society (Singapore), Humanitarian Organisation for Migration Economics (HOME) and Nature Society (Singapore).
It’s always great to go shopping and clock in some retail therapy. It’s even better to do that and give back to the society all at the same time! So do your part and pick up the Dragon Fruit Lip Butter at any Body Shop store. Each pot retails for SGD 10.90 and will be available from 18 September – 31 December 2014. All proceeds from the sales of the Dragon Fruit Lip Butters will go to the respective charities.
If you appreciate reusable bags for trips to the supermarket, swimming pool or gym, The Body Shop will be releasing limited edition “Bag of Life” bags that come in three colours – pink, white and black. There will be four different designs to choose from, each representing the social causes that The Body Shop stands for. The bags are produced by Teddy Exports from India.
The Bag Of Life in the pink and white variation will be available from 18 September 2014 while the limited edition black bag will be available from 6 November 2014, while stocks last. Each bag retails for SGD 10.90. Get them at The Body Shop stores at Orchard Gateway (277 Orchard Road #B2-38), ION Orchard (2 Orchard Turn #B2-39), Centrepoint (176 Orchard Road #01-47/48), and other outlets.
