The Establishment Group is proud to present their calendar of events this May. There will be two Bar Shifts at Manor Cocktail Room with Head bartender Din Hassan who has pulled invitations out of the air, while refining a Sichuan-inspired syrup, with a roster of amazing barkeeps.
Furthermore, they’re going to have three homegrown bartenders, Caryn Cheah, Steve Leong and Alvin Au, on 7 May at the Bar Shift Cocktail room. Other than the bartenders, the month also brings two guest DJs to the Gem Bar. Darker Than Wax’s famed Beats N Beyond night will host UK bass sensation Scratcha DVA on 2 May. On 22 May, the bass goes tropical with BBC Radio 1 with featured American dancehall stalwart Deejay Theory.
Obviously, they did not forget about local acts! Gem Bar presents Maurice Simon (9May, 10pm), Gonzo (23 May, 10pm), Attagirl! With Catsoncrack, A/KA and Durio (30 May, 10pm), plus hip-hop and R&B grinds with Matteblacc and Roze & the Band. This is definitely set to get you on the dancefloor!
Surprise! The Establishment Group is expanding with a new outlet! :pluck- is a restaurant-bar serving dishes inspired by Head Chef Brandon Teo’s wordly travels and it will be opened on 12 May. Patrons can look forward to Brandon’s freshly sourced and fairly-priced dishes paired nicely with Din’s cocktail pairings.
