Lunchtime is undoubtedly one of the best parts of work – food, office gossip, and just a break from the computer screen. Here’s one more thing you can add to your list: lunchtime shopping.
Singapore-based online multi-label store TheFashionBenefit.org, is opening its showroom at Amoy Street to shoppers during lunchtime every Wednesday to Friday from 11am to 3pm. The showroom is a cozy 200 square feet space where shoppers in and around the area will be able to try on and feel for themselves the quality of the labels stocked; and at the same time, make a positive contribution while indulging in their favourite past time.
The Fashion Benefit currently stocks seven brands and will now be welcoming another three – award-winning West African label AFIA, jewelry label Indie Twenty, and emerging local designer label, WEEKEND SUNDRIES – to which will also be made available online.
The launch of Lunchtime Shopping will also be launching its next partnering charity for the second quarter of 2014, Project Battambang. The Project is an initiative by the students in National University of Singapore dedicated to provide healthcare, education and support for promising students in Poipet, Cambodia.
Till date, the team has provided free medical screening and consultations, conducted health education and distributed gift packs containing stationery and toiletries to both villagers and students in 10 different places of Poipet. With each item purchased through TheFashionBenefit.org, USD5 will be donated to the partnering foundation regardless of the item’s price.
The Fashion Benefit showroom is located at 115 Amoy Street level 4A, open every Wednesday to Friday from 11am to 3pm.
