FiiO has launched the X1 Portable High-Resolution Lossless Music Player. It’s a mouthful, but no doubt a Digital Audio Player that’ll enhance your listening experience.
Firstly, you save time. There is no longer a need to reformat your songs as the X1 supports five major lossless music formats: APE, FLAC, WAV, WMA, ALAC plus MP3, ACC, OGG and more.
Secondly, the X1 uses a high-quality Texas Instruments’ DAC chip that provides you clear and crisp sound. This DAC chip surpasses those on smartphones, giving you a reason to keep your smartphone and music device separate. Additionally, the X1 also employs Intersil’s amplifier buffer which promises quality amplification.
Keeping to the classic scroll wheel+X key group layout (a feature you see on the X5), FiiO’s latest product has an operating system allows you to browse, play songs, and add them by batches to playlists. Convenient shortcut buttons have also been included to make the process efficient and quick.
Made of light durable aluminium alloys, the X1 also has a Micro SD card slot supporting the largest card sizes of up to 128GB and is able to give you 12-15hrs of playback time in a single charge.
The FiiO X1 is available in Silver, Champagne (in stores end of October 2014) and is retailing at HMV Marina Square, Jaben at The Adelphi, TREOO, Headphone Gallery, and Authorised FiiO Resellers for SGD159.
