With the opening of a new store, the team behind the little drom store has brought in not only exciting collections (check out the Moomin collection) but classes as well! Class No. 1 is all about cheese tasting. On 18 October 2014, the founder of The Cheese Ark (aka Ai Ming Syu) will be bringing you along a magical cheese journey!
Participants will get to taste 12 different authentic cheeses including the current seasonal cheese – the truffle cheese! Learn about the basics of cheese making, difference between authentic and commercial cheese, how to appreciate raw milk, and more.
Ai Ming Syu started her cheese journey many years ago in the cheese farms of Italy, and her time there allowed her to take the animals out to graze, milking them, and making and ageing cheese. She has worked with the few remaining traditional cheesemakers, and started The Cheese Ark to keep authentic and traditional cheesemaking alive.
