The Local People returns to Goodman Arts Centre for their upcoming night market, all in the spirit of Christmas! The team will be sticking to their laidback vibes, live musicians, and food and art vendors, including illustrators Gracie Chai and Zu Orzu.
If you haven’t heard or attended one of these markets, here’s a chance to squeeze one in before the year ends. Look forward to treats like Indian-styled burgers by Chef Devagi Sanmugam, kaya spreads from Social Food Co. alcohol-infused popsicles from The Sng Bao Society and of course, a favourite from previous night markets – the juicy roast pork.
This Xmas Night Market is a plus for DBS members. Not only will they get to go cashless with the DBS PayLah! application, guests who download the app prior to the event are able to enjoy three simultaneously occurring promotions at the night market.
First, purchase grab bags worth SGD100 for only SGD10 every half an hour, second, get SGD5 in coupons by taking selfies with mascots Xing and Jaan at 6 to 7pm and 8 to 9pm, and third, get discounts from selected vendors by paying with the app.
