Following RRILEY’s release of her solo project, another quarter of The Sam Willows is following suit. Benjamin Kheng took this time from the hiatus of the band to embark on his own musical journey.
Releasing his debut single ‘Wicked’ in December 2019, it was the first time Kheng had threaded the waters alone. His inspiration behind ‘Wicked’ is gospel music and theatre, which is what he experiments with leading up to the new album, out in May 2020. Recorded in Sydney, Australia, Kheng collaborated with producer James Angus for this masterpiece.
‘Find Me’ is the follow-up of his solo career. Sweet and haunting, the love ballad displays Kheng’s soft side. The back-up gospel vocals can raise your goose bumps. It’s that good. With intensifying emotions after every beat, ‘Find Me’ will quickly become your go-to sad song. Listen to the track below!
