T-shirts are definitely comfy, but don’t stash them in your “homewear” corner just yet. A graphic tee is your solution to I-have-nothing-to-wear days and with some creativity, you can certainly pull off an effortlessly-cool look. UNIQLO’s Spring/Summer T-Shirt Line gives you plenty to choose from. No, really. We’re talking 35 different designs here!
This season, UNIQLO collaborates with the likes of Sochiku Kabuki, the popular Mr. Men and Little Miss, Belgian cartoonist Hergé’s TINTIN, New York bicycle-maker Brooklyn Machine Works and storybook author and illustrator Leo Lionni. Plus, we have new additions to UNIQLO’s “Music Icons” series, featuring Aerosmith, Metallica, and Coldplay.
First, the ladies. One way to jazz up the ol’ tee and jeans combo is to throw on a casual blazer and slip on patent ballerina flats. You can also opt to tuck your printed tee into a midi-skirt! We reckon the Bob Foundation Short Sleeve Tee (first row to the right) would go well with a bright midi skirt.
Contrary to popular belief, t-shirts can go wrong – no crumpled tees and bad-fitting tops please. And while we may excuse the bermudas and tee combo for the beach, we very much prefer structured pants and a good pair of tennis shoes – perhaps a pair of Adidas Stan Smiths will do the trick! Show off your quirky side with the SPRZ NY David Shrigley (first row to the left), or go rock-n-roll with a black leather jacket pairing. Don’t forget your shades!
These tees will be available at all Uniqlo stores. Prices range from SGD14.90 to SGD24.90.
