Uniqlo’s recent collaboration with highly-influential creative company DesignTAXI aims to redefine everyone’s way of thinking and embrace the experiences life throws at us. In celebration of DesignTAXI’s tenth anniversary and the worldwide Creative Journals Directions collaboration, founder of DesignTAXI and Singaporean creative designer, Mr Alex Goh, worked closely with the Uniqlo team to create an exclusive UT (Uniqlo T-shirt) featuring a print of a bunch of scribbles in a box. The scribbles represent the never-ending creative process one has and illustrates that no matter how many turns one makes, they might actually still be thinking inside the box.
“Many people give up in exhaustion, few people continue taking new turns. The ones who do, usually figure out the way out. If not, they fill up the box with experience. It’s a beautiful thought. Believe you can and keep trying,” Mr Goh explains.
The Uniqlo X DesignTAXI UT, one of 13 designs around the world, will be retailing at SGD16.90 at three Uniqlo stores: 313@Somerset, Bugis+ and Parkway Parade.
