Lunar New Year Set Menus
Perfect for any group size, Chopsuey Cafe has curated two set menus for 4-6 people at SGD68++ Pper pax and 7-10 people at SGD88++ per pax. Selected festive items are also available as ala carte menu choices.
The first set menu comprises of seven unique courses and a refreshing drink. Start off the meal with the Pasqua Passimento Prosecco or Orange Basil Crush then gather around the table to toss the Chopsuey Lucky Lunar ‘Lo Hei’ (SGD28++ for half, SGD48++ for full). This variation of Yu Sheng replaces the traditional ingredients with trout, kale, celeriac, sprouts, red radish, blueberries and wild rice. This is followed by a perfectly balanced homemade dressing combining fresh calamansi, lemon juice, plum sauce, marmalade and Japanese vinegar.
The meal progresses to the Hot & Sour Chicken Soup, Chopsuey Chilli Jam Prawns tossed in a piquant chilli jam and topped with crispy egg clouds, and a Jade Ocean Trout (SGD39++).
The main course provides an option between Sweet Salty Spicy Fried Chicken, Crispy Orange Beef Rib, or White Pepper Espresso Ribs (SGD32++).
The last savoury course features Chef’s Wok-fried Claypot Rice (SGD28++) with traditional Chinese sausage, water chestnuts and fresh herbs.
For larger groups, the second Lunar New Year Menu offers a host of unique dishes including items from the smaller menu and then some. Customers can enjoy the Gancia Lychee Prosecco or Lychee Green Tea Shake, Chopsuey Lucky Lunar ‘Lo Hei’, Young Coconut & King Prawn Soup, Tamarind King Prawns, Crispy Cod with Chilli Garlic Sauce, and Fried Chicken Rendang, choose between Crispy Orange Beef Rib or White Pepper Espresso Ribs before ending with Braised & Blackened Cabbage, Chef’s Wok-fried Claypot Rice, and Hot Ginger Root Tea.
