Two universally recognised icons join forces to release a footwear capsule, and it’s a must have. Vans and The Beatles will soon be available, in the best Off the Wall fashion, for your sneaker collection.
The collection of footwear showcases the artwork from the legendary Yellow Submarine album and film. Released in 1968, Yellow Submarine is hailed as the representation of good music and unique art. Now showcased on four original Vans Classics, the collaboration is the first of its kind and delivers an offering of artwork and colours taken directly from the album cover.
Yellow Submarine is based on a song by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. It tells the tale of peace, love, and hope – themes propelled by Beatles songs like “Eleanor Rigby”, “When I’m Sixty-Four,” and “All You Need Is Love,”. The film, also a legend, was recognised as the bridging of a freestyle approach and innovative animation techniques.
The Beatles Yellow Submarine by Vans is an exciting collection that will highlight the group’s global influence on music, art and pop culture. The footwear capsule drops in Vans stores in May.
