VOID Watches take minimalism to the extreme with its latest V03 models. Inevitably, it is the simple design of the watches that brings attention to the high quality materials like stainless steel and premium leather that make up the exterior.
A closer look and you will discover meticulous detailing such as the concentric numbers following the path of time and the discreet branding that replaces the normal country of origin markings on the lower part of the dial.
David Ericsson, Founder /Designer for VOID Watches explains his concept…
“I wanted to first of all create a round watch and I wanted it to be simplistic. Secondly, I wanted to convey a minimum of ‘design’ with the specific purpose of creating a platform to allow multiple versions of the watch; dials with multiple colors, functions layouts etc. The general aim of the design is to create a platform, or canvas if you may, for future ideas. I wanted to create something recognizable and intuitive where the differences lay in the smallest detail, because when you design something as small as a watch, it is all about details.”
The watch face in the V03 line is created to exude a light and elegant expression. The watch sits beautifully on any wrist as the strap is attached traditionally using lugs. The quality Japanese movement is securely protected by an engraved stainless steel screw-on case back and all V03 watches are water resistant for up to 30 meters (3ATM).
The V03A comes in four different colorways. Apart from telling the time and date it also has an alarm function. The alarm is indicated by a forth arrow shaped hand and is activated with a separate button at the two o’clock position on the case.
Sporting a nylon nato style strap, the V03B comes in six different colorways. It only has the most basic function – telling the time. Period.
