For the first time, VOID Watches has ventured out of its minimalism comfort zone and into the creative hands of new Swedish fashion label True Faith. The outcome is the creation of two vivid-coloured watches and scarves.
Based on the V03B series, the standard dials have been replaced with beautiful patterns created by Patrick Kim-Gustafson, one of the founders of True Faith. Exclusive for this collection, the straps are made of calf leather instead of nylon.
The watches, Kaobang and Bryllyant, are named after the songs that inspired them. The Kaobang watch (blue) is inspired by the French new wave tune Kao Bang by Indochine while the Bryllyant watch (yellow) shares its name with the electro-pop tune Bryllyant by German band Boytronic and draws its inspiration from synthesizers and oscilloscopes.
With only 300 pieces available for each design, the VOID Watches x True Faith collection is retailing at Cumulus (501 Orchard Road #02-14, Wheelock Place, Singapore 238880) and Two.o.ri (61 Seng Poh Lane, Singapore 160061).
