Bored of the typical hangout places? Funsiamo, Taiwan’s leading DIY baking studio, has finally come to Singapore and has opened its doors to the public. A great way for friends and even couples to come together to relax, connect and engage with each other through a hands-on baking session, this concept features a fully equipped 1,200 square feet kitchen that is furnished with a blend of yellow, black, and white.

Funsiamo offers flexible booking schedules and a vast library of recipes to choose from such as favourites like Rainbow Cake, Valhorna Banana Chocolate Cake, macarons, fruit tarts and mousse cakes, or more Instagrammable bakes like Hokkaido cupcakes or adorable unicorn cakes.
For the first month, 15 recipes will be rolled out, with more in the pipeline after.
Bakers get to refer to the recipes in the iPad provided. The ingredients are also clearly stated to best suit dietary restrictions. All ingredients and tools will be supplied by the studio, so you only need to call to make a booking or walk in to try out a DIY baking session. The baking experience at Funsiamo is very much self-guided, with easy-to-follow video instructions and visual representations of the ingredients needed.
In celebration of Funsiamo’s official opening, visitors to the store can enjoy a 20% discount for recipes of the Valhorna Chocolate Banana Cake, Rainbow Cake, and Hokkaido Cupcake.
