The Converse Rated One Star campaign, which took root in Spring/Summer 2018, aims to inspire youths to embrace individuality and to go against the grain. Determination and a fearless attitude are the essence of the Converse Rated One Star campaign.
For this season, Converse has enlisted singer/music producer Zayn Malik as the brand’s global ambassador to front the Converse Rated One Star Campaign. Known for his chart-topping hits, the musician has been described as one of the most recognizable artists of his generation.
Closer to home, the campaign is fronted by Singaporean singer/songwriter Sam Rui (@sammirui) and filmmaker Jasper Tan (@vilecorpses), both were selected for their defiant style and contributions to Singapore’s music and arts culture. The Rated One Star collective feature in a lookbook showcasing the season’s Converse One Star shoes including the boldly coloured Converse One Star Carnival pack.
The Converse One Star Carnival pack introduces vibrant summer vibes to its 2018 Fall/Holiday line up. The shoes are jam-packed with attitude, taking cues from the bold colours of the ‘90s and the colour blocking trend in skate culture. The Converse One Star Carnival pack is crafted with premium suede upper, bold colours and a contrasting star underlay. The shoes are fitted with Ortholite insole for cushioning.
The One Star Carnival pack (in Bold Mandarin, Enamel Red and Apple Green; SGD139.90) and the One Star Vintage Suede (in Black and Field Surplus; SGD129.90) are now available in Singapore at all Converse boutiques.
