For YOUVIT, the coronavirus pandemic is proving to be a defining moment. With the worldwide message of emphasising health as the key to fight against coronavirus, the global market has seen an increase in people looking for supplements and vitamins. With a company philosophy of impacting generations, the YOUVIT team are boosting their contribution by providing not only premium quality vitamins, but also support and education to help improve the health and well-being of Indonesians.
In realising the mission, YOUVIT has partnered with Gojek to supply 6 million multivitamins for the hundreds of thousands of Gojek’s drivers in support of their health during this pandemic. Not only that, they are also supporting Indonesian health workers by donating vitamin sachets for every purchase made.
More than 36 hospitals have been supplied with up to 50,000 multivitamins to date. “Vitamins are the key to maintaining a healthy immune system, and as a company in this field, we are very confident in being able to make a difference and be a part of helping people stay healthy,” said Wouter van der Kolk, YOUVIT’s founder and CEO.
With the worldwide lockdown, YOUVIT aims to reduce the risks for both employees and consumers by training their workers to handle vitamin requests via phone calls and Whatsapp. The vitamins will then be delivered right to their doorstep!
The global pandemic has changed Indonesians’ mindset and behaviour in maintaining personal health. This opportunity was taken by YOUVIT to effectively carry out a dynamic education campaign that highlights the importance of fulfilling good nutrition. Aisyaffa Puteri, YOUVIT’s in-house nutritionist has been busy providing nutritional counselling, through regular YouTube “Health Talk” videos and setting up a Nutritional Advice “hotline”.
Aisyaffa explains, “With Corona, we are seeing this huge demand for information on how to be healthy and strong and we feel fortunate to be a company that’s able to really help at such a difficult time.”
